Most of the residents of Venus live on floating city clusters: vast networks of airships interconnected by bridges. They ride along in the wild upper winds, where terraforming has created a Goldilocks altitude where temperature, pressure, and oxygen are right for human life.
The rapid winds circle the planet every 96 hours, giving the cities a day 4x longer than on Earth.
Reina Del Cielo, or The RDC, is one of the largest cities. It's made up of over 600 "core" ships, each stretching a kilometer tall, and 300,000 residential and business airships where over six million people live their lives as best they can.
Its industry is a central component of Venus's recent and exponential rise in wealth. A wealth drawing envy from all across the galaxy.
