Alice Bonhoeffer is the leader of an up-and-coming gang in the RDC, the 99 Needles. Her goal is to turn them into a reputable security company that will rival the already-established Connell Watch, but the organization has more than just branding problems.
Despite having idealistic goals, Bonhoeffer had to resort to brutal means to take control. She has been forced to use the same in order to steer the group's culture toward a better and more sustainable reputation, with slow success.
Despite the fact that the irony of this situation is not lost on her, she cannot escape it.
